#6 – Develop positive relationships
In my 20 years of teaching I have discovered one irrefutable truth: negative people suck (the life right out of you).
Now I’m not talking about those who have the ability to play devil’s advocate and voice the other side of an issue.
Those folks are vital.
I’m talking about those who have lost the spark of curiosity and hope. Those people suck. They should be avoided at all costs.
And to think, I was one of those folks for a couple years.
Now that I’m more positive, I seek out others who reflect that positivity and how lift me up.
