Teaching Tip #165

Teacherscribe’s Teaching Tip #165

This relates to my “why” when it comes to why I teach.  Helping students find out why they exist is as good as it gets.  Now this rarely actually happens in my class.  But what I strive to do is at least get students thinking about why they exist and what they can do to fulfill that purpose by making the world a much better place.  Ken Robinson calls this finding your element.
I have found mine.  It has made all the difference for me.
I want that for my kids.

I love this quote...I'm following my dreams. Another good one is, there is only one day that matters and thats today because you can't change the past and you can't know exactly what the future holds.
