Homecoming

It's homecoming week. Today was our first abbreviated schedule today. That will be followed by one on Wednesday and Friday. On top of that kids are being called in and out of class for different presentations and so forth. It's insane, but in the end, it's fun. And who am I to complain. I only have to be here for two days. Wednesday a colleague and I have to present at a MNHS function in Bemidji. Then on Thursday and Friday we have our own MNHS class session in town to attend.

Coronation went well today. They had us up there again as celebrity judges for the talent show. I was kinder this year than last. But the talent was better. It ranged from a comedy skit about a time machine to two singers to an all-male denim dance team (horrifying) to a beat boxer (I think that's how you say it) to a gangster rap dance off.

Now I get to stand out in the rain for three hours - freshmen football game. We're still looking for our first "W" of the year. Maybe we'll get lucky with a slick turf.
