What is the most important thing we can teach students is a question I will ask my colleagues and then share their answers with my students.

The best answer so far has come from Mr. Powers.  And it was simply this - to learn.

I totally agree.

But next to that - or perhaps as part of learning - is the all important matter of grit.

I think we should offer a class just in how to develop grit, for many argue that grit is the number one factor that determines success not just in college but in the ‘real’ world.
