Passion is vital, right? Maybe. I used to think it was the most important thing of all. But now I know better. Passion IS important. No doubt. But passion is something you follow (I mean what if you think your passion is football and you’re 5’ 8”? or what if you your passion is video games? How many professional video gamers do you actually know?). I like what Mike Rowe says, “Passion isn’t something you follow. It’s something you bring with you.”
How can we not only personify this to our students but teach it to them?
