Another way I could see Storify being used is as an alternative to the traditional essay.  Why not have students write their essays on Storify AND include all of the great multi-media resources that Storify allows for (video, images, Tweets, GIFS, links . . .).

Here is a multi-genre research paper I wrote over Christmas break as an example to use with my College Comp 2 class, who are in the midst of writing their own multi-genre research papers.
