iTunes U Course

On Tuesday we had an official Apple teacher here who taught us how to develop our very own iTunes U course.  As an total Apple nerd, I've been listening to podcasts and iTunes U materials for years now. In fact, my iPhone actually has more space devoted to podcasts and iTunes U presentations than it does to music.

So when we actually had the chance to develop our own course, I couldn't wait.  The only problem we faced was that our students - since they all are issued MacBook Airs as opposed to iPads like the elementary and middle schoolers - can't actually access our courses fully . . . unless they have their own iPads or iPhones.

Still, I was totally psyched to get started.

Here is the code, if you'd like to give it a try. You just have to have the iTunes U app on your phone or iPad (I know. It's a pain).

Still it was a great experience building the course.  There is so much available to students today.

Here is the actual course. It's based on a book we read in College Comp, Seth Godin's The Dip.

The course outline.

The actual course and all of the various materials (mostly podcasts, TED Talks, and other videos or Storify documents).

Again, if you're interested in the course, here is what you can do to access it.
