There are only two days left in first summer session at the ALC. I'll be all done with Literature II, Science Fiction II, and MCA Reading Strategies.
Up next will be 16 class periods of MN Authors (we will read Gary Paulson's Winterkill and Will Weavers' Defect), Composition, and Creative Writing.
I can't wait for these next four weeks to be over. Not because I'm not liking summer school. I think this is the best summer session I've ever had.
I want these next four weeks over so we can get on with inservice and the start of the year.
There are just so many exciting things happening in our corner of the world (our wing is being remodeled, 1:1, RAMP UP, two new English teachers, and my new adjunct position with UND) that I can't wait to begin.
This is how much I'm looking forward to getting back to school: I'm actually looking forward to a meeting (yes, a meeting. You read that right) with other teachers and administrators tomorrow.
