My Best Critic

This morning Kenz decided she needed a bath. As of late she has gone from loving baths to hating them, so when she says she wants to take a bath, we pretty much drop whatever we are doing and run the water for her.

I figured since I had to be in there with her anyway, that I might as well hang the new towel rack we got last weekend.

As Kenz frolicked in the tub, I did my best to level the rack and get the screws in without stripping them and my usual routine (I always think whenever I'm trying to do something like this how easily my brother-in-law, Arnie, would be able to do a task like this. Tools just function properly in his hands. In my hands, though, they refuse to cooperate. Again, why is there never an English teacher emergency?).

After a few minutes, I had it level and the screws in place.

Then just as I was hanging the towels up, a little voice from the tub declared, "It's perfect! Good job, Dad!"

I didn't even know Kenz was watching me work.

That's my girl!!
