What a Game!

Since my wife is a die-hard Packers fan, she can relate to all the frustration of the Vikings fans now, for his last pass for the Packers - also in an NFC Championship game - was an interception.

You just new they were going to "Favre" it up and squander that game. It's too bad too because they should have won that game.

My highlight happened as we were driving a friend of Koko's home. He had 1230 KTRF on. The game was in OT. We dropped Steven off, and as I was backing up, New Orleans was about to kick the field goal.

Now the rest of this is God's honest truth: As I backed up, I barely heard the announcer say "Good" and suddenly the game was gone and some church music was playing.

What a bunch of babies at KTRF! Are you serious? They dropped the broadcast the second the Vikes lost. What about all the others who just wanted to hear the postgame?

Better get that church music on ASAP.

Typical Vikings coverage. All cocky and arrogant until things fall apart.

Maybe the radio station ran out of broadcast time for the game. Other people pay to have their programs broadcasted and wanted their space too; so more than likely it wasn't because the Vikings lost.

That's a remote possibility. But I just find it odd - that out of all the football games I've listened to on KTRF - and I love listening to games more than watching them - I've NEVER heard one cut of a split second after a winning FG or TD.

And it wasn't a program. It's not like they went to Swap Shop or something. And I can't think that air time at 10:00 pm on a Sunday night is the most coveted time slot available.

You might be surprised--after all it was Sunday night---church day/p.m.

Nice try, Gail. It's sour grapes on KTRF's part!
