After a tough day in the Reynolds' house (Kristie ruined a pan of fudge and a pan of caramel pecan bars, KoKo 'lost' the outfit she wanted to wear for her Christmas choir concert, and both our teams -- the Bengals and Packers, respectively lost on heartbreaking last second plays) was best summoned up by Kristie when she said, "The only thing that can salvage this day is if the Vikings lose to the Panthers."
Thankfully, things were indeed salvaged as the Panthers destroyed the Vikings.
Of course, we both were struck down with the flu, but that was a small price to pay.
