Discussions

By far one of the best things to come out of this history class is the discussions. Eric and Loeill are incredible. It is also great to see the ideas other teachers have to add. The people here know so much. This reminds me some of the RRVWP. We have very good teachers trying to do very good things, even if their circumstances in their districts aren't always very good.

Despite reading a fraction of the material, I have learned so much from our discussions. On today's agenda, Gary Paulson's novel "Winterkill" and the legal troubles that ensued.

Tow of my former teachers - one high school and the other elementary - are here. It has been a strange experience going from student to peer. Once I see them, mentally, I can transport myself back to their classes. Yet at the same time we talk as peers. It has been a very strange and utterly enjoyable experience.
