Currently I sitting at 383 posts (well, 384 counting this one). I think I can reach the 400 mark before the end of August. That would give me 400 since I began this blog on the first day of teacher inservice last year. That's a lot of writing.

Kristie's friend, Tricia, and her daughter, Faith, along with Kristie's mom were going to accompany us to Fargo. Of course, Kristie's mother cannot pass up a photo op, so as soon as we were out of her house, she had us all huddled together to get a picture. Now the thing with Kristie's mother is that several Christmases ago, we bought her an expensive camera because she was forever wasting her money on the cheapo disposable ones. Has she used it? Nope.
Now we have become so accustom to her trying to herd us together for pictures - with her disposable camera in tow - that we now do just the oppsite. Casey flees. KoKo groans about having to take yet another picture. Kriste wrestles with her mother (see the upcoming photo) and I ask Gail where her nice camera is. I imagine most non-family members look at us and wonder what in the hell is the big deal with taking a quick picture. Of course, as in the case of our wedding, we are all glad in the end for Gail's obsession with photos, but when you just want to hit the road, it can become annoying.
Here are the pictures I snapped of the ordeal from my cell phone.
Gail wrestling with Kristie. In this family, you better pose when asked dammit!
Here she is warning me about taking her picture. Somehow she hates to have her picture taken, yet loves to take others!
And now she is attacking me when I refuse to get in the picture! Help!!

Once the pictures were taken, we headed south to Fargo. There we ate at Famous Daves, bought Under Armour gear for Casey at the biggest damn Scheel's I've ever been in. Then we hit West Acres. There we finished our school shopping in Fargo. Casey shops like me - if he needs something, he finds the best possible place and gets it. Period. No shopping around. No shopping for one thing but finding a bunch of other stuff. So we entered Aeropastale and came out with several pairs of pants, khakis, t-shirts, dress shirts, and polos. Mission accomplished.
