Not only does John Branyan lament that our vocabularies are minuscule compared to Shakespeare's, but he also goes so far as to re-interpret the children's classic, "The Three Little Pigs," using Shakespeare's style and language.
It's great. Especially the part about the third little pig.
I don't teach Shakespeare, but I think this would be shown on the first day if I did. And I think I'd have my students take another children's tale or even a scene from a modern film and try and re-interpret it using Shakespeare's style and language. Just like this guy.
It's hilarious.
