A Huge Honor

On Thursday I was fortunate to receive the Peter Hess Award from our school district.  Not only was the $500 greatly appreciated, but I will also never forget the kind words our principal had to say about me.  On top of all that, I had numerous parents, who are also teachers here, come over and congratulate me.  Then I was lucky enough to receive several congratulatory texts from students.  It was a day I'll never forget.  Nothing like knowing your life's work has meaning and impact!
