Testing out a new bit of technology

Thinglink (that's tough to try and say) is a site that allows you to upload an image (see below) and then place links on top of the image.  Maybe I'm crazy, but this is very rich with potential.  I uploaded the image below and messed around with it, placing a few of my favorite web sites on it.  I'm embedding to see what it looks like.  My mind is on fire with what my kids could do with this (collages, digital essays, book reports, visual analysis . . .)
