Thoughts on first few chapters

I had students write their thoughts on the first few chapters of TKM.

Here is a sample

“So far I have only read up to chapter 3 since I have been gone, and honestly, I find it quite boring. Reading the pages seem like a chore and I think I would have more fun counting the spots on a Dalmatian than reading this book. I’m hoping it gets better. After all, I don’t think Mr. Reynolds would name his daughter after a character out of a crappy book.”
