One of the best summer reads for me last summer was George Corous’ The Innovator’s Mindset. Throughout the book he has questions for discussion. I’ll use some here for my teaching tips.
What are some ways you get in the “middle” of learning to understand the needs of those you serve?
This is where I think I’m at my best. I love the middle of the draft. Where a student is stuck or struggling with a scene or image. I can offer them some insight or give them a nudge and watch them create something new.
