The three parts of incredible teaching.

Part 1 – content.

I don’t know that any of these parts are listed in order of importance.  I just chose “content” because it was listed in the podcast I stole this from.  The podcast, “Eduallstarts” features an interview with Dave Burgess, he of Teach Like a Pirate.  The hosts asked him his thoughts on what makes for great lessons.  He had three parts.

Obviously, content is vital. But there is not much we can do about our content.  I mean English is English is English or American history is American history is American history, right?

Content is vital.  It’s what our standards dictate.  It’s what our textbooks preach.  But content alone isn’t enough.
