Teaching is all about connections. But I’m telling you nothing new.
How can we connect better with our students? One way – that I’ve been criticized for over the years – that I connect with students is via social media. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
You want proof of connecting with kids? Go to my Facebook page and search back to August 25. My birthday. The comments and love that poured out from current and past students – as well as parents – was truly humbling. I know that I connected with those kids and impacted their lives.
Isn’t that what this is all about?
