Use Facebook.  I’m serious.  It’s such a great teaching tool.

Why? Here are some ways.

There is the wonderful world of irony waiting to be explored on Facebook.

Here are just a couple of examples.

So you acknowledge your support for an article that talks about how some aspects of traditional schooling are overrated, yet you punctuate your commentary at a sixth grade level. #ironic

Here is another example that a former student shared on FB.  I used Skitch to proof the commentary to show the irony.
