It couldn't have worked out better to be talking about social media and technology in my teaching tips right now, for I just returned from a two day technology conference in Minneapolis called TIES. And it was excellent.
There is no excuse for a boring room, assignment, or project anymore. Spend half an hour on Pinterest and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a creative example of an assignment, a great quote, classroom management strategies, a great idea, or teaching resources, they are all there on Pinterest.
Be careful, though, that half an hour on Pinterest can suddenly turn to an entire day.
There is no excuse for unoriginality anymore.
