I love my second summer session classes.
First hour was composition. We read Dave Sedaris's "Big Boy". Then we examined the importance of voice and style over simple format.
Second hour was Literature 1. We read "The Lottery" and will analyze it more in depth tomorrow.
Third hour was Sci Fi II. I'm taking more of a horror slant here, and we watched a documentary on zombies and will read David J. Schow's classic "Wake Up Call" in class tomorrow.
I love it!

Your students are so lucky they get to read "Big Boy"! One of our kids did it for speech - well... at least I thought it was hilarious.
