Just my Luck

At approximately 3:30 this morning, Cash bursts into our bedroom wide awake proclaiming that he wants to watch Buzz Light Year.

Worse, Kenzie is right behind him!  He must have woken her up on his way to our room.

Parent instincts kicked right in, and I was up and marching downstairs with them.  Before I knew it, I had Toy Story 2 on, them tucked in on the couch, and their sippy cups refilled.

I laid down on the floor and napped a bit.  Well, I slept until the commercial break came on (we recorded Toy Story 2 on TV, so unfortunately there are commercials) and Cash would complain that Buzz and Woody were gone.

When the film ended, Kenz was asleep, but Cash was wide awake.

I put some coffee on and let Cash watch some old 1982 cartoon episodes of The Incredible Hulk on youtube.  After downing two cups of coffee and running to the bathroom, this sight greeted me.

Are you kidding me?  He's zonked out at the table.  In a chair!  So his nice, soft bed wasn't good enough for him to sleep the entire night?  

And with two cups of coffee in me, how am I supposed to get back to sleep?  Just my luck.

Well, looks like a chance to get caught up on my blog and to get my UND Intro to Ed syllabus finalized.
