10 Questions To Help You Become A Better Teacher This School Year, Part 9

9. What has changed?

Boys, is this one spot on for LHS.

Let's see . . . there's the multi-million dollar renovation, which hit our wing this time.  So basically I have a brand new room.

There's my favorite change - our move to 1:1.  One MacBook Air per student.  I cannot wait to begin working in this environment.

Then there are two new teachers this year who I will have the privilege of mentoring this year.

There is the Intro to Education course that I'll be teaching at UND Tuesday nights from 5-8.

There is the new LINC program at LHS where we will institute the RAMP UP to readiness curriculum as part of a home room.

There will be roughly 60 new students I'll have this year.

There will be afternoons off for the first time in over a decade as I won't be coaching football this fall.

I guess it might be simpler to describe the things that haven't changed - my dedication to helping student discover their elements and then pushing them to become remarkable.

That'll never change!
