After that, I emailed our principal and an elementary school teacher who would find this interesting and useful.
I also added it to my 20 sites / apps presentation (which has now ballooned to about 40 sites / apps) for our staff development day in January.
Then, and this is the small, flat world part, I received an email from the marketing manager at Glossi. She thanked me for creating a Glossi and stated how innovative she thought it was, especially since I embedded it on our class blog. She shared with me her Twitter address and asked me to share my Glossi on their Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest feeds.
How cool is that?
After I did so, she emailed me back telling me that my response and Glossi were front and center on their Facebook page.
Again, how cool is that?
Now just imagine the opportunities and contacts awaiting our students when they use digital resources to share their ideas and creative skills?
