Today's stupid comes from a school that is recommending a pre-school, who is deaf by the way, to alter his name. His name is Hunter and the hand sign for that is apparently similar to a sign of a weapon (this is so stupid, how can anyone make it up?).
So in its infinite wisdom, the school is asking the boy to change his name because it violate the school's weapons policy.
Again, this is so stupid, if you made it up and told people, they'd never believe you.
Whatever happened to wisdom and a modicum of common sense?
