The Future of Education?

I've been fascinated with infographics lately.  I so want to be able to create them and implement them in  my classes.  I quite haven't found a site that will allow me to do that, but I've got some leads.

But this site is amazing.  It's an interactive infograph on the Civil War.  How much fun would students have creating this?  How engaging would it be to learn about the Civil War from this site?

I'd love to design an assignment that allows my students, instead of writing a research paper, to formulate their research into an infograph.

That, though, still appears to be some time away yet.
