Pumpkin Carving Time

One of my favorite fall traditions has always been pumpkin carving.  This goes back to when Mom and I would carve out pumpkins.  Mom would scoop the seeds out, put them on a cookie sheet, and slide them into the oven while I carved the traditional pumpkin (I usually went with triangle eyes, a square nose, and a toothy grin).

Recently, though I've done some more radical things.  Mostly thanks to this book I found some time ago.

Now that the kids have gotten into it, we carve more pumpkins than ever.  Today Kenz is having her best bud Rhylee over.  After mini golf, we'll carve pumpkins this afternoon.

I was able to find Kenz one of her favorites on line -

Scooby Doo -

An intricate design of a cat and tree.

Frankenstein.

A spooky house.

The Headless Horsemen.  Perfect for Halloween.

Jaws.  A classic.

And the best for last: The Death Star!
