It was quite an evening. My sister's family made it, as did my brother's wife and their daughter. We had a packed house.
Kristie cooked and baked like mad for the better part of a day and a half and it turned out incredibly well.
It was a time to visit, remember, tell stories, a get caught up. It seems like it wasn't all that long ago that we were hosting Christmas for the first time at our house last year. It really doesn't seem that long ago that we were celebrating Dad's last Christmas in 2006. Or for that matter, it doesn't seem that long ago that Kristie and I were celebrating our first Christmas in 2003! Before we know it, Kenzie will be hosting her first Christmas at her house with her family and we'll be the guests!
Grandma arrives with supplies (and enough cookies to last us until next Christmas).

Casey was long overdue for an iPod upgrade. He still had his first generation iPod Nano!
For Kenzie, it doesn't get much better than Yo Gabba Gabba. Thanks Grandma.
