Well, yesterday was why we live in northern MN. Seventy plus degrees in mid April? Never.
I think it's been since my junior year that we had this nice of a spring. I remember a couple of our baseball games being real scorchers. And I don't think a single one was postponed because of snow.
Mother nature owes us a nice spring if it's been close to 18 years since the last one!
Kristie, Koko, Kenzie and I spent the afternoon and early evening out in the yard. We played with the dogs, sat around on the patio, grilled out, and played our first game of 'sport toss.' Unfortunately, I lost the first game to Kristie (this will be a reoccurring theme I'm afraid) by a couple points.
All we needed were the bats whizzing over our heads and the fire pit raging and it would have been just like any evening in July or August.
