Every once in awhile I catch myself thinking, where are the great writers, performers, or artists of our time?

It's kind of like the "Great Man" theory of history - where are all the great men (ala Lincoln, MLK jr, Newton, Darwin, and so on) now?

I tend to agree with the belief that history judges them more than we possibly can. In fact, we might not even know who the great men even are.

After all, in terms of artists and writers, how many have become far greater after their deaths!

Well, here, at least, it seems that we have a great artist in the making. No need to wait for history to judge his works. Or at least let's hope it won't have to.
