Am I the only one to notice the irony of our small group discussions from our PLC meeting this morning (the best and worst teachers we've had) and the fact that we are forced to show the atrocious bus safety video?
Those 10 minutes sum up pretty much ALL that is horrible about teaching . . . corny examples, condescending to kids, hokey narration, forced attention . . .
Sure, bus safety and pedestrian safety is important, but come on . . . we have to reach our students more effectively.
