Couldn't Make This Up

Kristie's friend, Tricia, has two wonderful daughters - Ashley and Faith.

Apparently, Ashley, who is a freshman, was down in the cities when a couple boys asked her, "Are you from Tennessee?"

Of course, Ashley innocently replied, "No. I'm from Grand Forks, North Dakota."

To which one of the clever boys responded, "Oh, because you're the only ten I see!"

Ashley told this to her mother and her little sister, Faith, who is elementary school, took it quite hard, feeling inadequate because she has not had a similar experience yet.

The poor little thing even went so far as to say, "I'll never be a Tennessee."

Now, you can't make stuff like that up!

But as Kristie said, Faith will always be her Tennessee.

So far, I'm glad Kenzie is only eight months. She's not just a state; she's our whole world!
