Our tulips are no more. But they were beautiful while they lasted.



Now our yard is covered in the pedals shed by one of the trees in our back yard. Must it always seem like winter?



The culprit. One day I was out in the yard and there was this unmistakable humming. Or really a buzzing. I thought there might be a bee hive somewhere. Turns out there are some bees nesting in the ground in the corner of our property, but the actually buzzing was coming from this tree. Once I stopped and watched, I saw hundred of bees busying themselves from flower to flower. However, that last about a week and now the flowers are all over the yard.
