According to amazingpregnancy.com, little Cash Kenneth (Kristie and her father love Johnny Cash. Kristie, in fact, grew up on him. So we settled on that name - we think anyway if it's a boy) or Kenzie Suzanne (This one is actually a tribute to my parents. Kenzie is a unique name for a girl and her middle name would be a tribute to Mom. I believe that was Mom's real name, though Dad always called her Sue or Susan when he was frustrated), is now 3.5 inches long and doesn't need to rest its chin (oh my God. She/he has a chin! Amazing.) on her/his chest. He/she (doesn't feel right referring to the baby as an it) weighs nearly an ounce and has intestines, fingernails, and its face is developing into that a baby rather than a fetus and the fingers and toes are fully separated.
Kristie even thought she felt the baby move last night.
Unfortunately, Kristie has not been feeling the best. The vitamins tend to make her sick (they did the same thing with Casey and Kory) and she has bad reactions to certain foods. So far her cravings haven't been too odd. But maybe they were never really normal in the first place, so how would I know the difference? (Just kidding dear).
As for me, I'm feeling well and rested. The vitamins haven't made me sick at all nor have I had a bad reaction to anything other than the food at Whitey's Sunday night. My cravings have been the usual too - ice cream, Uncrustables, oatmeal and raisin cookies . . . I'm holding up pretty well through out this! Then again, I've gotten off pretty easy. Of course, that will change when it's time to get up in the middle of the night to feed Cash or Kenzie (not sure of the spelling though) or change diapers. But if I can get up in the middle of the night to hoist Einstein off the roof in the summer, I should be able to hadle this.
We are blessed!
