First game: disaster

Bemidji handed us our rear ends, 40-14. They were bigger and faster. It didn't hurt that we didn't play close to our potential. Since we look at so many different kids before locking them into positions, many of our players haven't found a spot yet, so this led to plenty of confusion. That confusion led to plenty of points. For the opponents.

Our offense was fine. We pounded the ball well. Our fullback is a monster. Our other backs are a tad slow. At least they are slower than the backs we are used to. So we didn't have any big plays to compensate for the smash mouth ball we played inside.

At least we know this - we can only get better.
