Custer

We made it. Unfortunately, though, the weather is colder here than back home. We woke to a bristling ten degrees. I guess this is the coldest it has been here in quite some time.

In fact, on our way down yesterday we ran into quite a bit of snow in Sturgis. Last year the weather was in the 60s. But we will still brave the temps today for a walk in the hills and woods.

While I took a nap yesterday, Kristie and her stepmom, Lori, went into Custer to meet with the photographer. Then they went out Sylvan resort to check out the wedding cite. The veranda isn't quite what Kristie imagined. So we are going to check in to getting the wedding moved to the actual shore of Sylvan lake. That is where I pictured the wedding taking place all along, so this is good news for me.
