I just got a comment on a previous post about NWEA training. The person said he did the NWEA training for his school district and hoped he wasn't coming off like our trainer.
I don't know how anyone else could! NWEA results and info can be great for teachers. My advice to this person would be to focus on that (and he probably does) rather than burying teachers in handouts (as our presenter does). Also survey the teachers and see what they would like to know about NWEA results (not there is a novel idea!).
Now I'm starting to prefer NWEA sessions to common prep.
