Too good not to share

On Friday I had my College Comp students complete a short focused free write in which they were to discuss the progress they have made on their first novel. Here is the last paragraph of Amber's paper discussing her progress on "Wuthering Heights" (it was just too good not to share - and she gave me her permission to share it too) -- "The hardest and most frustrating part is the literature. The writing is old English and almost seems like reading gibberish. I don’t understand anything that’s really going on. But I guess it’s a good book." Now haven't we all been there at some point in our lives?
